View Full Version : Flip out deck in 3rd gen Integras?

I'm looking at buying a DVD player for my 01 Integra and I was wondering if anyone has or has seen a flip out in dash DVD player in a 3rd gen Integra before. It seems as if it may interfere with/hit the climate controls when it is flipped out.

seen lots.. more often then not they usually get put into the vents above the console as they do disrupt the HVAC controls

Which vents? Not the regular DIN slot?

the 2 vents that are right above the buttons and sliders for ur heat and fan speeds

I wouldn't bother with the flip out. I had one in my '01 and it was a royal pain to adjust any of the climate controls.

u can always go double din full screen

Got any pics of them in the vents? Seems interesting, but I like my heat.

sorry to bring this back from 07 but does anyone have pictures of a flip out deck custom installed in the middle vents in a g3 teg? i remember seein someone from abtegs having this install and think it would be a cool idea to do especially with a nav unit attached. kinda like the g35 nav
