Hello,
I have been looking for a used car for a while and now that I'm done school next month I can finally afford something new/newer and ditch the idea of getting a lt1 car (people are on crack for the prices they want for them).
So I'm kind of wondering on the prices of some new cars and some opinions.

New Cobra?
An new STI?
A used LS1 car?

Does anyone know what the retail price of a new STI or new Cobra is in Canadian dollars?

all 700 of the RX-8 coming to Canada are accounted for, and there should be a waiting list of ~ 6-12 months.
First shippment will arrive ~ June 13th, but the dealer will not get a car for display/test drive for a few more months only after all the pre-order are taken care of

the price is 36k base and 39k for fully loaded

Ya a Rx-8 Doesn't appeal to me not because of design or performance (well it could be turocharged and have more torque :nut: ) But really the fact that does it is that the dealerships are pathetic I mean guys on the rx7 forums don't even think about takin their cars to mazda dealerships.
And I highly doubt they will be competent to work a new rotary.

Anyway Just a thought

You can't take an RX7 to the dealership for mechanical work? What are you talking about?

its not wise to.
The people i would trust at a mazda dealership to work on an rx-7 are few and far between.
Just today i went by rx-7 specialties and a fellow with a 93 had a tiny coolant leak. He went to a mazda dealership to get the leak and a door handle problem fixed. They looked at it for over an hour and said its a 12 day wait for the hose, once they found it.
charged him 90 dollars and didnt fix a thing.
He went to rx-7 specialties and had both things fixed in 20 minutes.
