Fiat 500 was launched in 1957, weighed 470 kilo and had a 2-cylinder engine with 13 horsepower :D

The new one:
1.3 liters 16v Multijet turbodiesel
1.2 liters 8v 69 hp
1.4 liter 16v 100 hp
5 or 6 speed gearbox

Probably not the best car for american highways, but very practical in narrow streets in Italy. :)

The old 500 was Top Gear's sexiest car of all time.

My dream is to own one some day.

My dad had one when we lived in Europe. I got to ride in the old one many times. I loved that car, it was great.

New one doesn't look bad either. I wish we got more smaller cars like that here.

Fiat...x/19 was a really sweet car until we had to sell her. I used to hate hearing the Fix It Again Tony jokes because we never had a moments trouble from her.

I would totally buy another Fiat...I agree I wish there were some of the smaller cars they sell in Europe here. Guess we love the gas guzzlers too much!

Smart cars have the ugliest looking interior I have ever seen in any new car... For the amount of money you pay for em, compared to what you get, I think their a major rip off. UUUUGLY

 @ the interior!!!!

Wonder if it will actually make it to production looking like that? Or is that production already?
