hey I just got a used 49cc pocket bike. I am just wondering do I use 2 stroke engine oil and mix it with regular gas? and how much gas do I have to mix with the 2 stroke engine oil? and how do I mix them together? like is there a special way to do it? please let me know thanks

I think it was something like 50:1, it should say on the canister, and ya you need to always mix the Oil with the gas, and it should be premium gas...


just put it together and then shake it...

Yeah 40-1, 50-1... And the tanks are only like a litre, so it's not very much at all (drops).. Better to get a small jerry can (4-5l) and just premix it in that... And they are fussy little things, so mix it right, or it won't start...

ya i mixed mine, and it is very fussy and it hasnt started since. be careful or it will be problems.

is it the rite oil that i m gonna use for it? 2 stroke engine and do i put drops of the gas or oil?

yes, any 2 stoke oil engine oil will work... then you measure out the amount to go with however many litres of gas you have.. so go get a jerry can and buy an even # of litres, so you know what your working with... then do the math, or there's calculators online.. it's only going to be a very small amount of oil you put in the gas and shake it around and you're good to go..

you'll need something to measure with, so just steal one of your mom's measuring spoons.. ha..

hey alright guys i did it measured everything out and filled it up but now it doesnt wanna start:( i tried for half hour but still not starting:thumbsdow any one know what it could be

yea it was on its side i dont have a stand for it so its always on its side

i think ur supposed to use 25-1 ratio for the first little bit, if it doesnt start and u try everythign else just try running it on straight premium gas to start it and then add oil later

Did you turn the fuel valve on?...Also check your fuel filter.
