Integra Stock Stereo Deck Help

Hey I didnt know where to post this soo here it is..

I have an 1998 integra stock stereo deck (and no manual) in my car and when I try to play CD's it says FE-0 or something like that on the screen.

I was wondering if this is fixable or FE stands for F**Ked Equipment? haha

Has anyone else had this problem?

Just from a quick browse, (http://www.cdplayerrepair.com/cl.htm) it looks like there are some problems with that year for stock Acura stereos.

I found a number of service manuals on this website (http://spoonhonda.com/index_ie.htm) under downloads. They have two service manuals for the '98 Integra on there. Download and have a read, they're about 1500 pages each and look to be identical They might have some info buried in there, but you can look for it. :thumbsup: Good luck!

You need to enter a 4 digit security number. It usually comes on the key chain when you buy the car from the dealer ship. I think your better off buying a new deck, looking for that number will not be fun.

call Acura and tell them, they can get the code
