Do you guys need to do rebuilds?

I know it cant be as bad as the FD RX7 rebuild time.

Specifically on the turbo 2 litre 16v motor. If there was an SW20 with say .... 133k km on it, should it have had a rebuild? Or when is one due? Just wondering. It's easier to just ask in here instead of joining an MR2 forum to do a search. Thanks again

lol 133 km you should get at least 250 000 without a rebuild probably more.

It really depends on if you keep up with maintenance or not and how you drive the car.

hahah, 133km. The car is barely broken in.

One of the most known cars in the MR2 world ran 11 seconds on a stock internal engine with over 200 000 miles!!!!!

Lots of people build these engines. Very few rebuild them. These engines are beasts.
