fight at a party

I went to my friend's party in Palliser on Friday and when I arrived there were kids EVERYWHERE. Obviously the shit got out of control and eventually a fight broke out. Three guys were kicking the shit out of this one kid on the floor. People broke it up and I helped the guy get up, seconds later, someone swung a bottle right in front of my face and hit the guy I was helping up. I backed away and the fight continued. Cops showed up, everyone scattered, etc, etc.

I'm just wondering if anyone else knows anything about this, mainly whether the guy is ok?
