I just talked to a guy in Edmonton yesterday and he said 0.28cents /sq ft. An additional 0.25cents to install. It should be around the same in Calgary.

Average price in the city is 2.50$/roll, a roll is 2'x5' (10sq/ft)..

You also have to prep your yard, get rid of all the rocks and make it level ect. Then you have to lay the sod which is pretty easy, just get a couple friends over and you will have it done in an afternoon.

I use to work for a organic place down home that was selling SOD...

They will tell you to water it, well from experience and from selling it, they mean soak the living shit out of your SOD, water it so bad that if you were to walk on it you can pretty much see water puddle at your feet, and water it 3 times a day at the very least...

Do that for atleast 2 weeks...and seeing how Calgary is way more dry then home...I would suggest to do it for a full 3 weeks...just to make sure

You don't want to spend all this money and your SOD goes bad, because its really easy for it to go bad!!!
