I just bought brand new

HP OFFICEJET 6210 PRINTER

I downloaded all the software and what not and the machine wont setup proberly...

Turn on machine....

2 seconds later....all the lights on the display start flashing...

I have called HP they were useless...told me to send it to them...

i have changed keypad...unplugged and plug in wall outlet not serge protector...nothing works.

HELP!!!

Try power cycling the unit. Turn it off (while plugged in) then unplug, wait for 2 minutes, plug it back in, and turn it on again. If that doesn't solve your problem, then the flashing lights are more than likely indicating that there is something wrong with the actual device, not the setup.

Open the cover, ensure that the cartridges are installed properly and that the paper is loaded correctly. Troubleshoot the paper feed to ensure that there isn't a jam.
