My gf got a ticket but it doesn't say when and where she got the ticket. Does that mean it's void?

it will be on the part of the ticket you didn't get.

If I remember correctly on the top of the ticket it should say on or about, then the date, then at or near Calgary, Alberta or whatever location she recieved the ticket.

The exact time and place would be in the officer's notes.
