I'm going to get one as a previous owner of a couple of DSM's it's in my blood. Proabably not right away though as I have some house renovations next up.

I used to really dislike the evo. The interior looked terrible, it had a mitsubishi logo on it. But with the new pictures of the 2008 WRX STi the evo X is looking better then ever.

yeah, but if you import the STi, it costs you $38-$42 depending on exchange...

Like I said before Mistu has an opportunity to stick it to subaru. Price this thing at 43-45 grand for the top model and take STi sales away. For 50 grand I will get into a 335i thanks.

from what i heard at the auto show so i'm not sure this is true, we are getting a different evo than the us, we are supposedly getting the prototype X and they are just getting the evo X not sure what the difference is. and not sure if this is true, but this is from one of the salesmen.

So is Mitsubishi actually releasing a Canadian model of the Evo X?

If so, its about time.

that wouldnt make any sense at all. canada is too small of a market for us to get a different car than the states. it would be a waste for mitsu

Really? How does that explain the Echo hatch, the CSX/1.6EL/1.7EL? oh and the smart car, up until now.

I'm buds with the owner of Platinum, I actually work for his brother in law.

Anyways, he gave me all the info he had on the X (for which he currently has 6 deposits) and it's not much. Guessing around $50K, yada yada, but the potential that they might stick all of them with that gay sequential automatic bullshit has left a sour taste in my mouth. I want a genuine 6 speed manual.

I'll wait for the MR in 2009.

well considering the quantities those cars sell it would make sense. but this is an evo, i doubt it will ever sell close to any of those cars. if it was 30k possibly but not for 40-50k.

i dont think it would make any sense for them to give us a diferent car other than teh X. why would we get the prototype over the X?

I would wait, the previous evo's were the culmination of years of refinement. This one is starting from scratch.
