BMW 48K service

anybody recently had the 48K service done at the dealer?

mines coming up pretty soon here and wondering what is involved and what the cost is?...more concerned about what is done...

It's free schedule maintenance for first 3 years up to 60,000kms. :dunno:

Ya an inspection II is just around 1k.

But the stuff they do is really ridiculous for that price. It's around 20% tuneup, 80% inspection and most of the stuff (if not all) can be done yourself.

from what i have seen its inspection 1 and 2 is not till the 96 k service?
