My pics up. Nothing specular. It was a blast. Wish I could've hung around for dinner. Maybe next time! Who bumped my ISO to 640?? I didn't even notice till later. Ah well. Maybe it was me and just forgot... :nut: At least the ISO 640 on the D200 is much cleaner than the D70.

The ship was a Ferry dureing WW2 , and the japense bought it off the aussies after the war... and i guess it got loose when they tried to tow it back to japan ... so it just went up shore and has been there 50+ Years. and na u cant go in it , its fallin apart.

Out riding with a couple of the guys, pretty cool areas to go riding, all the areas are marked out like a ski area, green circle, blue square, black diamond, double black. The trails are also named...the best one being a double black called Birth Control.

Nope. I took that with my 24-70 2.8L when I was messing around. No tripod, no flash, all lens.

I was out exploring China town in Victoria and got these shots.

Hows this for ISO 1600 on a Nikon D70s. A camera with a reputation for lots of noise at high ISO. Shot with the 50mm 1.8, f4 @1/125s and ISO 1600. :eek:

Ya but in the first picture its really hard to tell that there is any noise, let alone being shot at iso 1600. Especially on the D70s.

Focus on the object and with a decently high f-stop will give those results. If you want to know more read up on hyperfocal distances.
