Jazz clubs??? Any Downtown???

Well just found out my lady likes jazz and we would like to go to a jazz club downtown....something slightly classy as to have at least a basic dress code would be nice. Anyone know of anything like this downtown at all. Anywhere's with live music would be even better

the Beat-Niq is a great jazz club, it's in the basement where the actual jazz club is and they have a good drink selection, there is a dress code, i dont think a sports jacket is needed, but nice shirt and pants;maybe tie if you want to dress to impress. Above the club is a nice restaurant; pretty expenisive but really good.

btw it's in downtown; not sure of exact address. Just yellowpage search it or something.

I like the Beat for sure. Quincy's has some nice jazz acts as well.

The lounge section of Vintage Chophouse has some decent acts on weekends.
