Well, my current peice of crap phone jsut died on me.. so I'm in the market for something to replace it with...
Let me know if you have one you want to get rid of.. it must work on Telus's system (stupid contracts)...

Not too sure what phones will work out there.. but I'm looking for something along the lines of the motorola v60 or something in that size.. (I had an LG.. like I said .. crap.. I don't want another one of those..)

Go to Future Shop to buy your phone cause if you go to a dealership (i.e. if you come and see me) we will rip you a new asshole for what we charge for full retail prices on the phones.

Future Shop sells them for probably half of what we sell them for.....but you won't be able to find the V60 that works on the Telus system at FS....the only V60 they carry works on the Roger's network.

I noticed on telusmobility.com that one could purchase a refurbished Mot v.60 for $199 online with no contract..
Are these phone availible to purchase through the dealer as well, or do they have to be purchased strictly online?

You'de have to get the refurb's from the website cause dealers don't sell refurbs or used phones at all. That would be an offer by Telus.

Shit...$199.99 for a refurbed V60....I think I might get me one of those too!

Actually sometimes the actual Telus dealership in Chinook and Market have them, but you need to call in advance. I love the v60 and think it's a great phone for quality.

And btw, the Samsung A540 brand new is $199 ... it just jumped up in price.. but if you wait, it'll most likely drop back down to either $149 or $179 (the price that phone has been for a while following the summer months).

IMO, you should get the LG4600 or the Audiovox 8900. My personal favorites on the Telus line right now. The 8900 is a camera phone. They both happened to drop down in price when the Samsung went up in price. LG4600 is much better than the LG520 (which you probably had) so I think you'd be alright to go back to an LG. It's $229 - regular price $299. The 8900 is $279 - regular price $349.

I've got an older Startac if you want it. $ 25.
It was working fine when I cancelled my contract, I just didn't need it cuz I got a job where they gave me one. PM me if interested.
