i shouldnt say its not drivable.. it is.. but i don't recommend you go over 50k in it.

also not sure if the transmission can be repaired or if it needs to be replaced.

that would be a perfect pick up project wow... yu could find a tranny for 300 bucks or so and if yu do the work yourself... wow that would be good turn-around...

the car needs a new transmission, or needs have the transmission replaced.

The ENGINE runs well, everything else on the car is fine. This is a perfect car to have as a daily driver/esspecially as a winter car since it has brand new winter tires. Great little car for a '97
