Anyone know the reliability of the 1998 bmw 323is? I am thinking of buying one with 148k, its been very well maintained, But i was just curious how reliable they are if taken care of properly? Thanks

IMO they are no worse than any other vehicle that's been taken care of. Power trains are rock solid as well. Later down the road you may have some minor electrical issues (i.e. pixel burining out on display), but obviously no way to tell for sure. The 323's are a little low on power, so, if you even care, you may want to go for a 328/330 if you have a bit extra cash.

excellent for reliability. They are a bit of an odd vehicle since they were only made for 2 years, but they use the same powerplant found in the E46 323's
