I picked up a headlight harness from suvlights.com since I was planning on getting some HID's sometime. The guys there are friendly and helped me make a custom harness. It's a 15 minute install without the real need for any special tools.
They rigged up a special custom harness for me since the 05 uses different high and low beams from what they normally offer.

Here is how the harness looks. It feels heavy and looks like it's got a heavy construction to it. Looks very durable. There is also a slow burning fuse and an inline fuse which makes me feel safer.

Two separate relays and bundled up nicely.

Another look at the construction. The light blue end goes into one of the adapters from the back of the headlight and the taped up end goes to the headlight. I also wrapped the high beam end so it does not get dirty while I adjust the harness in the engine bay.

There will be one end near the end of the harness that looks like the blue attachment. Unplug your
drivers side low beam and plug it into the blue adapter pictured here.

I taped the back of the harness adapters for the headlights with electrical tape to make sure water
does not get in there. I doubt it would ever get there but I wanted to make sure.

Hide the wires behind the fuse box in the engine bay. I placed the relays with the prongs facing down.

Now that connects the trigger for the relays on the harness. You just have to connect the ends of the
harness to the headlight bulb adapters. Mount the relays label side up so no water can corrode them.
Attach the power and ground, Red fused wire goes to the battery while the black wire from the harness
goes to the body. I tucked it through the hole in the battery tie down for a clean look.

Another shot of the harness, the blue end goes to the stock headlight while the blacked taped end goes to the headlight. I wrapped the covers in plastic so they did not get dirty while I adjusted the harness before I installed them.

Going to the passenger headlight it would come close to the rad hose so I wrapped it in some insulation tape. You can pick it up from Home Depot for cheap. I wrapped my CAI in it too where it comes close to the
rad hose.

I zip tied it and went across the metal portion where the radiator is. It comes out where some stock wires comes out. Nice clean look.

The harness puts more power to the headlights without going through the dash and everything. It really lights things up better. It's a no brainer because more voltage to the headlights = brighter, whiter headlights. The roads are light up better and overall I'm happy since this is perfect for an HID kit later on.
Anyone who has a HID kit or is running higher wattage lighting should purchase one.
