Who else took the chance this morning to buy 91 Octane gas for $0.965 at the Petro on 68th Street NE? Apparently they ran out of 87 and 89 octane until the afternoon so they sold the 91 octane for the same price as 87 octane everywhere else? too bad they finally got more in the afternoon cause they stopped selling 91 octane for that low.

when gas stations run out of reg( well esso for sure) they sell premium at regular prices; it's usually because the tankers dont make it out on time. There's always conflicts between the transport and the actual company ie) esso, shell ect.

So is there a reason behind this latest increase? Or is just another one of the "we felt like it" increases.

"we felt like it"

they'll have some economical reasons, but it should top out soon (may long weekend)

then it will slowly decrease... all summer long, with the occasional bump up... but then again, something may happen and it'll skyrocket until we're all riding bikes =(

well from what i heard, it has been rumored that this summer we'll experience regular to increase to 1.10/litre again like last summer...or even worse. Hopefully this isn't true or else it'll be riding the transit system for a bit lol :thumbsdow

okay so i bought a new car (honda civic) and it states that i should fill regular but all my other cars and my whole family uses supreme gas paid via speedpass; should i continue to use supreme? Even my dad's van fills supreme.

Btw not sure if this is common knowledge but the mid grade gasoline is a mixture of premium and regular gas.

Reg is supposed to get to $1.26 at the least... Dont hope a for a drop anytime soon.. But I dont know of any place thats cheaper than co-op when you calculate in what they give back to the mebers.. 3 cents at the bump.. 3 cents per litre on coupons that can be used for buying candy in the grocery store lol.. Oh and I think there giving 3-6.5 cents back at the end of the year for thier return cheques!

Use the lowest octone you can w/o detonation.

People who use premium because the rationalize they're 'treating their vehicles' make me
