I have a 6 month old HP Pavilion dv2040ca entertainment laptop for sale. I bought it in November with extended warranty (total of three years), and condition is great.

Exterior is black, and the top has wavey designs topped off with a glossy, scratch-resistant laminate. Interior is silver with designs like the cover, and keyboard is black. Inside has blue LED buttons for media player. Very, very nice looking machine.

Intel Core Duo T2050 Processor (1.6 GHz)
Comes with a mobile remote control
Integrated 1.3 MP webcam + microphone
14.1" WXGA Brightview Widescreen Display
120GB Hard drive (5400 rpm)
1 gig DDR2 SDRAM
128MB SHARED video memory - Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950
LightScribe Multi Drive (8X DVD RW) w/ Double Layer support
Integrated Wireless ethernet card (802.11 a/b/g)
5-in1 digital media reader (for SD, Mem stick / Pro, MMC, xD)
total of 3 USB slots
Comes preinstalled with Windows XP Home (with CD Key) + office (I'll uninstall everything else if buyer doesn't want).
Comes with system restore discs (which restores system back to OEM status)
I also got the free Vista Home basic with the MS Upgrade in the mail a few days ago, but haven't installed yet (too much work for me).

Bought for $1200 w/ extended warranty

Looking for $900 obo (Warranty is still good until November '09 !)

Will try to take a few pictures soon, but for now I found some on this site (http://www.cnet.com.au/laptops/laptops/0,239035652,240064040,00.htm)

Basically, I just used this laptop to lug around with me to school so i can type out my lecture notes and such, and besides that only use it to listen to music and for bit torrenting a few things.
It's a very nice looking laptop, one of the nicest ones I've seen personally, but I'm looking to upgrade to something with a better video card so I can get rid of my desktop computer. I figure with exams coming to an end I can live without a laptop for awhile.
The 14.1'' screen makes it more portable compared to 15.4'' laptops, which I think is a very good asset.

I'm interested in the unit, but I'm comparing it to the HP dv2402ca at FutureShop for $549 brand new with full warranty. Would you be willing to do $500 cash?

You're comparing Celeron with Core Duo? Wow.
