Three New Calgary Passport Offices Open

CALGARY/AM770CHQR - Three new passport receiving offices are open in calgary as of Wednesday.
The new sites are at: Marlborough Mall in the northeast, at Fisher Park Place in the southeast, and at One Executive Place on Crowchild Trail northwest.
These sites do not offer full services, but will review and accept standard adult and child passport applications, collect the fees and documents, and then forward them on for processing.
For complete services, you'll still have to go to the downtown Harry Hays building.
Passport Canada is hoping this will help alleviate some of the waits at the Harry Hays and South passport office.

good news for me since been too lazy to get my passport

Its not too bad actually.

I lined up at the south one on McLeod at 7:30 am this morning and was out of there in an hour.
(Doors open @ 8:00 am)

Fill out your application online and you will get priority once you get in the door.

Have everything ready as well and it shouldn't take too long.

I drive by the south one everyday on the way to work and noticed today that there was hardly a line up like there usually is.
