Any advice, tips, and what to look for.

Fantastic cars, but check the electronics and transmission (auto) on the vehicle and go over the entire thing. These are pretty cool cars and they have enough power to keep you happy for a while

Radiator/cooling issues, check if the any parts have been replaced...trannies as well...unless you go for the 540i6
