This is the hatchback version, which kinda looks like the mercedes hatch. They'll drop the name 'cavalier' and change it to something like 'cobalt' or something in that regard... they'll also be offering a few model trims, and offer a supercharged SS, which offers around 220hp.

It does hey?! Thats what I thought too. Its like clone. Im bankin its a GM concept photo though, because all the previous gm concept photos were done like that... they look real, but somehow fake.

The only thing is, the mercedes lights kinda clink in, then jut out.. the ones on that cav are gradually sticking out... kinda looks like the tail lights from the concept I think pirahna (spelling!?)

(thats a concept, that kinda looks like the above as well)

And I think this was what they wanted the sedan to look like.

It's not a chop of a c-coupe and neither is it a nice looking car.. :barf:

At least GM will finally have a decent small car now. Even if the bodywork looks plain vanilla like the last generation, the underpinnings will be quite a bit better.

They decided to drop the name, because they messed up the whole line by giving it all these rebates and trying to market it as an eco-car. The next gen wont even really be an eco-car anymore, because they have that new Aveo or whatever (it kinda looks like what honda and toyota are bringing in.. those really tiny cars that appeal to the youth and value minded)

so in essence, that car will take the ecobox slot, with the new cobalt or whatever being upper ended.. sorta like a malibu or something.
