What to buy

I have been saving up for a while to get a new car and i have about 15,000 to spend and i figuered that it would not be worth it to but it into my 1994 jetta. I am looking for something that is fairly quick but can also be driven on a day to day bases

2001 Maxima? Not really sure what style of car your after. Also consider how you like to drive - do you like to drive the bag off of the car getting 5pmg to go fast? or do you like to have power everywhere?

Use your Jetta as a dd and buy a car that comes with more than 300HP stock, right now I'm looking at GTO's(Mitsu) but I havent found one that doesn't have some sort of problem. You can pick up a TT 300ZX(not my personal fav) or an TT RX-7 for under 15k. Depends what are you looking for?

EDIT: whoops forgot 300ZX and RX-7 dont come 300HP stock 300ZX should be close and a RX-7 should be around 250-260.
Also a Talon Tsi comes with about 280HP

98 TSI Talon : 210 hp, 215 tq

dont exagerate, just because brian spilner drove one doesnt mean it was really a 10 second car ;)

edit: oh yeah, some 300zx's come w/ 300 hp. (least the ones made in the states did)

I was thinking about getting an rx7 but i hear that they are expensive to keep on the road for daily driving

well and i dont want just high end power i want it to be drivable at like 2200 rpm

yea I wasn't sure about that one, I dont know where I read the talon tsi had 280hp though....

well i was thinking about it but being 16 insurence is really expensive and to have it on 2 cars would be like 7000 a year
