are you sure thats an '87?
the dash on that truck is not from an 87.. more like 82-85 s10 or 83+ s10 blazer.

also that gmc grille doesn't fit flush with the headlights, there is a gap, which means that the truck doesn't have an updated rad support either or else it would line up.

The whole front is custom from the lights, grill, body kit and turn signals.
If u want an original truck then buy an original, there have been hundreds of hours put into this truck ill take it as a compliment if u say it does not look like an original. And most s10 parts are all interchangable.

The instrument clusters are from an 87 model. They had pointed glass on the gauges from 82-85 I believe and then flat until 88 when they switched to the sweep style of gauge.

sorry dude didn't mean to say that your truck isn't an original. If it is, then i apoligize. Its just that i had a first gen s10, so i know a bit about them.

good luck with the sale

For 13,000 you better list all the modifications done not just some of them.

Engine?
KM's?

err...every 87 I've seen has had the weird sweep style gauges...and using cardomain it looks like the 86's do as well...perhaps providing the vin would clear that up though...or more specifically the tenth digit of the vin...

Alright soo the doors are connected to a popper, push the button the door pops open. You see it in many hot rods now a days. I did do the targa top my self and I have been a mechanic all my life and have worked in the industry for over 25 years so it was done professionally.

More upgrades to the truck is a fully custom interior, carpet, door inserts, power windows and locks (not stock). The sound system features bass enhancement features, equalizers, power cap, two 12 inch subs. Everything is Phoenix gold with the exception of the deck which is sony. The truck also has a body kit. The km's on the speedometer are 160 XXX because the truck was driven for approx 10 years before the modifications. The motor which is a 2.8 litre was replaced 15 XXXX kms ago as well as the transmission.

Thanks for the input

The truck has never been winter driven even with original owner because it is rear wheel drive (that is what we were told). So the km's are low. Also it went into storage for a few years and wasn't even driven in the summer. Currently it has sat in a garage all winter and with 5 other vehicles in the house we barely even drive it in the summer. Hence why it is for sale. It also does NOT have any rust on it which is visible in the pics. Its a great deal and if it had a small block or any other bigger engine the price would be in the 20 000 range. If anyone would like it with a small block we can arrange something but the price would be significantly greater. Again its appraised at 23 000.

A bigger engine wouldn't bump the price that much. You can find 350's a dime a dozen rebuilt for relatively cheap. None the less I feel more or less bashing you, which is not my point.

Nice car none the less, really clean, but the color just doesn't do it for me :( Good Luck on the sale :)

I know what you mean but to do it I would want to crate in a new engine. The rest of the truck is pratically new might as well do it right from the start.

thanks for the input tho :)
