Hey guys

I'm deciding between an Acura Integra 94-01 or an 01 Hyundai Tiburon. Integra's have great engines, cheap parts, highly customizable but are more expensive than Tiburons. Havn't heard any bad comments on Integras after 100k kms. Tiburons are a few thousand dollars cheaper but I'm not sure how they are after 100k kms. I've also heard Tiburons are noisy on under highway driving conditions.

Do you guys think I should save up the extra $5k and get an Integra or are the Tiburons good solid cars?

Thanks for the help in advance!

If you want to mod it, buy the Integra. Tons more support/parts. And a better base car, really.

You're asking whether you should go for a Honda or a Hyundai? And you're asking that on Beyond.ca?

Im not a big fan of tiburons at all. they are okay looking cars. but i would definitly go for the integra. if your looking to mod it out, then definitly.
im guessing you have seen tokyo drift. remember the line that that guy says when he gives the other guy that evo. "what did you think i was gonna make you drive a hyundia"
lol
but yeah. i would say save it up and get the integra. im not too sure about tiburons, but acuras are really good reliable cars.

in 2 years the integra will worth more than the Tiburon.

unless you get a 2002+, those Tiburons are garbage

^meaning you will hear alot of HONDA!!!!

and yes go with the honda, with the well designed power plant and the history behind the vechicles tending to prove they are a long lasting unit!

i mean alot of the times its not hard to find a 300+ kms civic/integra in half decent condition and still running well...

I'm not even a big fan of Hondas...just being practical.

i used to work with a guy @ Honda. Believe it or not he used to drive a Hyundai Tiburon, and that thing was nothing but trouble to him! In the course of the 3 months i worked with him he went through 2 transmissions, 2 cd players and had a couple of electrical issues! I own 2 Integras. One has 385,000 kms and the only things i had issues with was the say time running light relay, fuel pump relay and my timing belt which snaped(that was due lack of maintinance). Acura is the far better bet, in terms of relyability, functionality, and even performance mods! I would have no hesitation to go with the Acura IMO!

Integra will cost less in the long run. Maintenance and parts are easy to find and cheap for an Integra.

The Acura is better in every way i can think of if your comparing the two. The engine and suspension are definilty at the top of the list for pluses for the Integra.

Don't worry about spending the extra $$, you'll get it back if you decide to sell it later.
