He isn't that big time yet and he's also a canadian guy. He comes to calgary a few times a year and performs at the comedy cave.

Why does everyone like Dane Cook?! His stand up isn't funny and is garbage hahaha, I get a giggle or 2 from his material, but overall, it sucks so bad. Some people like him because of HOW he delivers the jokes and not so much the joke itself, but its often over exaggerated and stupid.

Yeah I'm with you, I dont get why everyone likes Dane Cook. Hes about as brutal as you can get. I remember a while back he did a few minutes for some awards show, and made some joke about blowing up babies .... Man i've never heard a crowd that big, that quiet before.

I can't believe how little Dave Chapelle's name was mentioned.
Hands down the KING of racial humour, because he makes you look at the absurdity of race relations without ever exploiting any one race....he never just rags on one race for shock value. He is a master of exxagerating the way different races treat each other (consiously or subconsiously) and his delivery seals the deal.

In "For What It's Worth", his bit on the white girl who was kidnapped, "How old is 15?", and his bit on what different races eat are perfect examples of what i'm talking about.

By far my favorite comedian of all time and actually respect him for who he is and what he stands for.


A close second is Jerry Sienfeld. I'm still not sick of "Im Telling you for the Last Time"....absolute classic
