Its for sale right now... Im actually going to take a look at it

heres his FS.

the car is also currently featured on: www.jtuned.com

this 1995 nsx-t has SUPER low miles (only 39,500 miles). the KBB value of the car is nearly $40k alone. and i see most comparable NSX's (stock) going for about $42-46k on the market. easily over $40,000 invested in the past year to get this car SEMA prepped. while i know recoupping cost on these mods aren't normal, i'm also not here to sell the car in any rush. so for those looking to pick up where this project has left off, or simply want a jump start on their NSX, this maybe it. there's a ton of pending media coverage waiting to come out, some others that want to shoot, that i've just turned down for time being, and also working out final arrangements for a 2008 SEMA apperance (which means more freebies and goodies for the new owner).

Sorry, but that widebody kit looks like ass. Too busy, not clean at all, and the whole back end just looks wrong. Add the rims into the equation and you get the very definition of what you shouldn't do to a car with clean lines. He's ruined an NSX.

Also, I'm willing to wager it doesn't look half as good in person as it does in those Dragan-edited photos.

EXTERIOR ($24,000+)
etc.

ENGINE ($4200):
- Taitec JGTC center exit exhaust
- Comptech Headers
- ARC intake
- Downforce cold induction scoop
- Downforce carbon intake manifold cover
- Mugen oil filler cap

So, basically, he blew around $25,000 on the exterior and bought an intake and exhaust package for the stock engine. In a desperate attempt to make it look like he cares about performance, he lists a scoop, a manifold cover, and an oil filler cap as engine mods.

Guess what? It's a riced-out NSX.

its a jgtc body kit, not ment to look good, meant to FUNCTION

oh and guy buys 40000 $ car and spends 25000 $ on a SHOW car, and only puts intake exhaust on? happens all the time, and that car would still rape most others on the track

and youll probably bring up some bs about how i said function then show, its a show car, meant to look like a racecar, thats the point, look at it like that and the car is mint

thats a good looking car

but for the price, i would say buy a stock one, and do your own mods and focus on power rather than looks, as quasar said, a stock nsx looks best with a good set of tires + rims!

So I'm supposed to nuthug this car because it looks like a racecar but performs like a stocker? Sorry, no. That's the very definition of a poser car. It's all show, no go, and it's ricey as hell.

Brakes are nice, that's about all I like on it.

Edit, picture of back end:

http://fotographiks.com/sale/nsx15.jpg

Looks like somebody glued random crap to the back of a stock NSX.

Not a bad looking car, but looks much hotter with the black Volks on it for sure.

3 spokes are for homos.

:werd: I've never seen good looking 3 spoke rims, the black rims look sweet though.

This NSX is definitely gorgeous.

It's as complete a personalized car comes.

Oh no no, I went over the post and didnt decypher the FI as forced induction...so from then the post to me seemed like the guy was saying "Well least it's stock turbo with no bigger turbo or boost mods"

...that's why my initial "errr" was...well...the thing is that these cars dont really....

...but then I read it and realized the FI was for forced induction and came to grips that I just need to drop these types of arguments regardless of ppls lack of car knowledge or of my being presumptiously correct.

Long and short I misread the post...so thats why I recorrected it.

But ya thanks for bringing up my edited post...I guess?

God that's one of the ugliest NSX's I've ever seen.

sullygully
05-01-2007, 06:57 AM
Not diggin it. What the owner of this car failed to realize, is that an NSX is one of those cars that they don't need body kits to look good, they already look sexy. All they need for appearance mods are a lower suspension and some nice wheels, then you walk away. The rest of the money should of been spent on go fast goodies.
