These pics make me sad, and they're the reason why I keep dissing mainland China, and they sometimes make me feel ashamed that I'm Chinese. They just rip things off others, make fake stuff (FOOD included!!) and can essentially get away with murder!

There are people in the country with enough intellect to invent/make things that will be comparable to the rest of the world - but they're just too lazy and greedy. They're probably thinking - "why bother advancing if we can just take somebody's proven product?" They have thus no need to do any R&D, just production and pure profit.

Alas, I don't think too many foreign companies can sue for copyright infringement, etc as most of these rip-offs are Chinese domestic market only.

Some of the cars that they try to copy aren't good designs to begin with.... I wonder why they do it in the first place... I feel bad for the good designers in China (I'm sure there are some left), because they are not needed in China anymore. Very sad.

Partly agree with u, but u don't need to say the whole country sucks. The suckers are the people who made decision to produce these shits.

I dont care what you guys say! I cant wait for the China cars to show up in Canada for sale. I have read a few articles indicateing that we will be able to purchase a WELL equiped 4 door sedan, that gets excellent gas mil. and will be under 10 grand. heh They also have indicated that their qualitity is almost 10 years ahead of the american vechiles.


If i want a nice car.... ill get a porsche, if i want transportation to and form work... ill get one of those china cars :D

I wonder if China's school system encourages artistic creativity or just produces mindless robotic engineers. I'm sure the guys who build these cars could put a man on the moon but they sure as fuck have zero creativity and desire to create something special. I'm sure it's the system, not the people.

BTW Japan rips of TONS of US products as well with no consequence so it's not just China. The only difference is the products Japan rips off are often better than the originals lol.
