So I have a circular drive way that turns to the right (makes it harder than it if was left)...well it looks nice and all but kind of a pain. Looking for those things that hang from the ceiling with the little rubber donut on the end as a guide...know what im talking about? or any better ideas on what to use for this?

I've seen most people use string and a bottlecap. A string and any object would work really.

I have no clue what your talking about but im assuming that you want to park your car in the garage without hittin your car.

Use a string and tie a tennis ball at the end of it

Any type of string with any type of soft and somewhat heavy object would work. As well you can put something on the floor like a piece of 2x4 or smaller so when you feel it, you stop. This worked better for my van because the first bump means the van is just inside leaving lots of room in the front to get out, then the second bump means the van is in about 1 meter more and we can open the large back door fully with out hitting the garage door when closed and still be able to manuver around the vehicle with no problem, very good for cold weather.

Rope + tennis ball works perfectly for me. Lined it up so that it just touches the windshield where you look through it. The wife parks perfect every time now. Some pennies in the tennis ball for a bit of weight.. and you're in business.

The only downside, is my dog thinks it's a toy for her.. ..

For a simple solution, use fishing line and a tennis ball. Just put a screw or a hook screw into the tennis ball and the same thing on the ceiling.

For fancier solutions, there's parking bumps you can put on the floor which you'll notice once your tires touch it. Or if you've got some cash, there are laser guides that you can install that will display a light or sound when you should stop.

Using a tennis ball also won't potentially cause any damage to your car or windshield if it drops or something.

I just found a stud and marked it. Then I just line up my driver side mirror to it.

I put a tennis ball and string up in my garage when space was tight. Works like a charm.

Another vote for the tennis ball and string method.

Works great, I can even park when I'm drun...tired, easy to use when I'm tired...

If you've got a bit of money to burn, Chamberlain makes a little device that shines a laser beam on your dash. You can find it at Rona/Home Depot for about $25.94.

I painted a old yogurt container orange and put stop on there and hung it up. Otherwise my sister would have driven through the garage wall 19 times.
