Watch that movie speed, where that GMC bus jumped the hiway. Seems like u don't see those buses anymore, they sure had a certain sound to them.

They only bring them out during rush hour. But I have seen a lot of new buses lately without any markings, maybe they are being retired.

I think its just they want to get the newest buses out on the road to replace ageing buses asap. Maybe if the Drivers go on strike matience will have time to paint them.

Sell them to small towns, third world countries... that "speed" movie type of bus is one of the longest production buses around, and so getting used parts for them (for developing countries/ small town) is still affordable, think they only came out with like 3 engines and 2 types of transmission, stretching from 60's towards 80's...(BUT I'm not a huge BUS info guy though, but ask some diesel mechanicals)...

I kinda liked those old buses more... they had much more seating space than the new ones... but one thing i find is that they suck at getting up hills.

do you know how many millions they lose by not advertising on the side of the buses? That is why mostly I think runs the transit system... ADVERTISING

Working on new color/scheme to match with the new LRT cars. Mayor was supposed to make a decision on what to go with.
