Selling my home PC in the hopes of generating enough funds to purchase a Nice laptop. I've previous sold two laptops on here that were Dell Inspiron 6400's and am looking for something better than that.

I will most likely be buying my own laptop so won't really be accepting any trades unless its a laptop who's original sale price closely matches my systems original.

System Specs WILL NOT PART OUT

Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 2.13GHz

Asus P5W Digital Home Deluxe (Comes with WIFI antenna and remote control)

Sapphire Radeon X1900GT 256MB PCI-E

OCZ 2GB (2 x 1GB) PC2-6400 800MHz EL Platinum

LG Super Multi 18x DVD+- RW (Black)

2 x Seagates 320MB 7200RPM 16MB 7200.10 Hard drives (Really fast at are .10 SATA)

Enmax Liberty 620W Power Supply (Modular - Comes with extra cables)

Comes with a copy of Microsoft Windows XP PRO SP2 (OEM) (CD /w Key)

All this is nicely packaged inside the ANTEC Nine Hundred Gamer Case. This case is incredible, fairly quiet with a huge 200mm fan on the top, two 120mm fans on the front and two 120mm fans on the rear with extra mounting brackets for more fans. Has a window on the side that accepts another fan. Very nice case that moves a lot of air but relatively quiet.

PRICING

To purchase this system originally it cost $2317.58 after taxes and i have all receipts to prove the price. It was purchased November 16th of last year (2006).

ASKING 1600.00 - PRICE DROP 1500.00

If someone is truly interested but feels that the price may not be reasonable please don't flame my post, i would like to keep this clean and will gladly reconsider my pricing if some PM's me and states which piece is over price and what they are willing to offer.

I look forward to dealing with someone on here, please no random posts i think this excellent system build should speak for its self already. Thanks.

No trades. Unless it is a real laptop. For example runs windows.

Yeah i meant not a Mac.

Also,

Just priced out the system on Memory Express with all the part included and it would still retail today for 2133.09 after GST.

uhhh.. the Macbook Pro is a very, very good laptop. Really, really good.

and your system is overpriced. Sorry, but its got a last generation video card that wasn't that great to start with, and only 20% depreciation on a PC thats one year old? No, no, no, no...

Just to give you an idea, my computer, even including my monitor (22" widescreen) and speakers (Z-2300 Logitech) costs about $70 more then yours, for a much bigger monitor, better speakers, super high end motherboard, and a current video card (8800 GTS).

long story short - your price is too high. People probably don't want your monitor or your speakers, sell them separately. And lower the price on the comp itself.

I appreciate the Advice, however the 1900 GT is a pretty damn good contender in the DX9 market with a firmware flash you can unlock extra pipes which i haven't done but have heard that it does give a bit of a performance boost.

I have remove the monitor and speakers from the price and will lower the price more to better reflex depreciation. hopefully this will draw in some people.

Also i really have nothing against Mac at all, the person that posted that is just a friend of mine so i was just trying to give him a hard time. I am just not looking for any trades unless its either a nicer Acer laptop or Asus preferably. Cash is what i am looking for so i can spec out my own.

Pricing Update: 1600

Holy shit, I thought you made this crystal clear and very fair.

Tell the man on PM and stay out of his thread!

Wow what a shit show.... I like that word... hehe

honestly the system I had that traded for the MacBook, (and unknown gave me a really hard time about it;) ) was a little lower grade than this, better Mobo on his and better speakers.

also:
If your see a price that's too high, don't go and bitch out the seller. The thread will die eventually because nobody would want to buy 'em.

but I dont think this is unreasonable, go and see it in action if you are serious
