I'm taking ACCT 355 and i'll be finished my diploma. Once a week 6-9pm from May to the end of August.

I don't understand your schedule...its only 8-10 each day and you listed four courses? I hope you arn't taking all four, that's four courses in the third semester...your just asking for bad marks.

This is my schedule too. However, I have two more courses, ACCT 395 and ACCT 365.

My ACCT 355 starts on May 16th and will end sometime on August.

Another thing, why is it Stat 360 doesn't have a credit. I just finished my ACCT 305, ACCT 345 and Stat 360 and my grades were already posted in mysait.ca and my Stat 360 doesn't have credit although I passed the course.

Mine begins earlier than May 16th. You must be doing the Wednesday evenings, I'm doing Monday evenings which starts May 7th.

Stat 360? I never realized you were suppose to take that course in the accounting program? It's only STATS 220 I believe. And ACCT 395 and ACCT 365 are quite simple, especially 395. If you did well in the first Cost Accounting, you'll probably find the difficulty similar.

Are you going for the SAIT applied degree or the U of L transfer?

I am in Accelerated Diploma program that is why I have to take Stat 360. My plan is to finish the diploma by year end and then transfer to U of L early next year. I still have 4 more courses to enroll by September. I believed that U of L will accept my application by October as long as they will receive my official transcript before Dec. 24th.

What do you think of taking COMM 375, BFIN 345, ACCT 325, and ACCT 370 in one semester and having a part time job (20 hours a week)? Is there so much research work in COMM 375? I can handle fairly well the ACCT 325 and BFIN 345 but throwing in TAX (ACCT 370) might be more time demanding. I am maintaining a GPA above 3.6 so I can get scholarship when I transfer to U of L.

Please do give any suggestions or information.

I'll be taking ACCT 370-Taxation and I'll be done as well but it ends in June

Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10am-Noon

What's the problem with Steve Janz? I was on his ACCT 305 class and I pulled an A whereas my STAT 360 with Karen Wallace was a very disappointing C which pulled down my cumulative GPA to 3.80. Steve Janz class is not boring because he let students participate rather than just talk what's in the book. I found his teaching technique effective.

We have different taste, what works for me may not work for you.

Anyway, just give it your best shot.
