It won't be till the middle of 2008 since most MKIV were considered 93.5 as the year.

Don't expect to import one till approx may, June of 2008

One thing i can tell you is that the 15 year rule is very strict! They hold that rule right down to the month of production, so make sure it doesn't show up early, other its deemed an illegal import and stays that way.

Are you able to import them but not clear them right away? Or have it registered as a track car or something until they are 15 years old.

^ AFAIK if the car was in Canada b4 the 15 years as a track or show car, it can never be registered as a road going car.

Yea, and you don't want to mess with customs. They're bitches. That's my honest opinion of them.

Have all of your supporting paper work that shows the car was manufactured 15 years to the month that you're bringing it in... like someone said, you don't want it here if it's an August car in May of that same year.... You want an August car in August or after... If that makes sense.

yeah and no doubt by that time the law will be changed to the 25 year law.
