I have some 200+ Record albums that I want to save. What is the best way to save them to disc? (not for recopy)

I have windows Media 05, a DVD player/burner, a digital Amp, and a working turn table, a pre amp, also.

It is just a shame that all my Albums would go to waste.

get a firewire mixer and record them to your pc in mp3 format. use a program like soundforge. then after you can edit out the pops and cracks.

or u can just download them all.

Go to futureshop and buy one of those attachemnt things for your PC to capture stuff. Just tell them what you want to do and they will show you it. I don't remember the name but it comes with all the software and all that to make it easier

Not cheap tho.... :( Yea, considering I have a much better turntable, with Moving Coil Stylist already.

I think I am going to try the DAT record out on my reciever, into my DVD recorder.

Time to revamp the sterio cabnet.
