Hey i was looking to buy a pretty much new wardrobe, but iam unsure as to where Calgary actually has some good looking clothes. Stores like PUSCH, and URBAN are a good start. Iam not looking for names, rather iam looking for style. I could care less if it said JL or Deisel on the shirt (ps DEFINATLY no deisel haha).

Any store ideas with clean looking preppier clothing without the cheezy-ness of Latitude styles and with a good selection. Thanks!

just to make sure everyone knows, iam not looking for dress shirts or anything like that. just some good trendy threads without looking like a try hard kid who bought 30 shirts off a sale rack in latitude.

Henry in Bankers hall 3rd or 4th floor

CaptainReboot

Henry Singer in Bankers is more dressy (Hugo Boss, Prada, Michael Kors, D & G, Canali, but they do have some casual stuff (J. Lindberg, Lacosto, Boss Orange Label.

Henry on 4th is the same company, but more casual clothing.

Is used to like Holt, but their salespeople suck.

yeah but kinda pricey considering the clothes are made by the same people who make the gap and old navy clothes.

He was talking about Urban men, which is in the same price range. Secondly it depend what you are looking for. I buy my jeans from there because are actually quite heavy and a nice cut, especially in the crotch, slim but not ball squeezing like so guys' pants, I don't know how they get them on.

I managed to get a good deal on a dress shirt and sweater there, 80 total.

Skyline was was talking about Banana Republic, not Urban.

I shop at BR/CM/Holt/Brooklyn/Mexx, my gf loves shopping so picks up whatever good deals she can find.

I'd suggest Chinook Centre. Everyone has a different idea of what looks good, so starting a thread on this won't help you much imo. If you are looking to redo an entire wardrobe, you'll basically have to go to the mall and spend a whole day browsing through all the stores.

If you really don't know what you're doing, find a hot chick dressed in the style you like to go with you.

Brooklyn and Henry are all about the names, they rip you off pretty bad. If you don't care about name and just want style, just hit up zara, gap, club monico. How you look depends on you use your imagination or use someone elses. You don't have to spend a fortune to look good.

I went to H&M when I lived in Toronto. I find the style is somewhere between Gap and Le Chateau but a little bit cheaper than both.

I wear a lot of Mexx and some BR for work and I found H&M's look and feel a little too cheap.

I'll probably check it out friday night or sat still to see what it's all about. :goflames:

went to H&M in toronto, their stuff is pretty cheap!

2 polo's for 15 bucks? Jeans were 30 a pair.

I can agree with the Gap comment, its certainly cheaper price and quality wise

if u are asking abt brands, how about true religion jeans and ed hardys?

din really see them when i was there in calgary, xcept at a store at peachland near the city beach.

i like urban behavior, bought quite a couple of stuff back at good prices.

think gap and old navy is good for basics.

Don't mock Value Village!
I have worked at one in a smaller town and even we got some cool stuff (a gucci bag, tons of banana republic, old navy, a Giorgio Armani belt, really nice button-town shirts, etc.) so I imagine Calgary would even be better.

I like Banana Republic but I refuse to buy more then 1 pair of jeans when they are $125 a pair. Costco sells jeans for $30-$40 and they don't have stupid tears and rips in them.

for real? the ones in Toronto sell both Mens and Womens, and they actually have a very good selection of mens clothing. Look out for the 2+ hour line ups lol

Yeah Value Village is used... and it does smell. But if clothes do not sell in a month they send em off to other countries.
