No not here...found it while browsing a malaysian car forum, it was a news article.


Car thief beaten up by owner and friends


KUALA LUMPUR: An enraged car owner and his friends beat up an unidentified man who broke into a Proton Wira parked beside a petrol station at Jalan Pahang here yesterday.

According to police, the 26-year-old car owner and his friends had parked the car and gone to a nearby restaurant to break fast when they heard the car alarm going off at about 9.30pm.

They rushed to the car and found the victim ransacking it.

The men beat and tied him up before calling the police at 11pm.

The police found the man dead upon arriving at the scene.

The car owner and his friends have been detained for questioning.

Certain religions sometimes require a person to fast (not eat ) while the sun is up during religious events , I.E. Ramadan for Muslims. I think that's what the article is refering to.

They were "breaking their fast" at 9:30 pm after sunset.

wonder how much those Wira's cost. They looked like an econobox when I was in KL.

Yeah econobox. Its cheap because its a malaysian car, and all imported cars are extreeeemly expensive.
