Don't you have the same motor as Shadowz?

Anyway, I think it is time for beyond.ca dyno day!

Oops, I thought your motor was JDM as well.

Anyway, so the JDM Prelude TypeS has 220hp flywheel so I assume that is the motor TomTom has? Formerly Trendkill's car, a buddy of yours!

Are you making your own pulleys? Or going with the Evosport kit?

I'm still looking at doing my own kit, but I need to do more research first.

My current plan is to run the water pump off a secondary system (probably an offset belt) so that there's less restriction on what can be done with the crank pulley. I'd still like to underdrive the accessories as well. I won't be doing anything for a bit, though, given my current (un)employment status. :p

from the book 140hp / 129ft/lbs...given age and drive train losses, i'd be willing to bet im putting about 100-110 to the ground

My horsepower is probably about right for me.

If I had to guestimate, I'd say that my M3 has about 300 horsepower at the crank.

The Saab has something like 205.

What I was getting at, really, was the fact that torque plays a much more important role in performance. To be honest, I am way more concerned with handling and braking then in raw acceleration. The M3 has more than enough power to keep up with and humiiliate 99% of the cars on the road (and keep in mind that I live in California where people can drive sports cars year round, so there are lots of them).

The Saab can beat most cars on the road with 205hp and its weak chassis. Of course, weak is a relative term.

As for what I do for a living.. my company builds technology for automotive companies. We do a lot of application development, database design and systems integration.
