2004 Yamaha YZF R-1000: 998cc, liquid-cooled, 20-valve, DOHC, in-line four-cylinder engine designed to make 180 horsepower at 12,500 rpm. This bike is in excellent condition. Garage kept and well maintained. Current mileage is 16K. I only put 3k on since buying it and I’ve come to the realization that I just don’t have time to ride it anymore. The bike was laid down once at low speed by the previous owner. Damage was superficial to the left side and only had to replace and paint the fairing. Fully inspected and certified after the fact by Walt Healy (I have all the documentation). Oil and filter changed last weekend, this bike is ready to go to a new home!

Transmission: 6-speed w/multi-plate clutch

Front: Dual 320mm discs; radial-mount forged 4-piston calipers. Front tire 120/70-ZR17 tire with lots of thread

Rear: 220mm disc w/single-piston pin-slide caliper. Rear tire 190-50-ZR17 tire, loads of thread left.

Color: Shift Red (color matched lower fairing)

Add-ons: G-Force Alarm system, frame sliders, smoked Lock-Hart Phillips double bubble windscreen (not included in pics)

Price: $9450 obo. No test pilots. PM me for more details.

Yip, those are recent pics. I just installed the DB windscreen this weekend which is why it's not in the pics.
