Hey guys,

Tried searching but couldn't find the thread I was looking for (Think i saw it on here a long time ago).. Anyone know any of those storage places that will house a car during winter or summer months? And if any of you do that approx. how much would it cost per month?

I got a quote for $1000 per 6 months and $1900 for 12 months, I just ended up buying a 48 foot used cargo container.

Where do you keep it Proboscis? And which place quoted you that? Is it heated?

It's in a field at a farm, A Storage Company (Springbank) is where I got the quote. Give them a call since I was quoted 2 years ago, fair price but I was looking for long long term storage for some cars on the cheap

^ Holy Fuck you guys are getting raped out the ass, how can anybody afford to pay THAT much just to hold on to your car for a few months? WOW.
I go to East Lake Storage up in Airdie (in the phone book) its $25/month all inclusive for outdoor storage, you get an RV sized lot so you can store two small/medium sized cars bumper to bumper.

Or Its (dont quote me on this) $120/month all inclusive for a 10X20 foot non-heated sercured indoor storage unit.
Its actually owned by an older couple thats super nice, and easy to get along with, with a new facility.

I've been going to them for years, and am still quite impressed by the level of service I get.

I would ideally like to have it with at least a bit of heat, ie like it stays above freezing, because I would like to still do work on my car here and there over the winter.

Wow, $120 a month is still pretty expensive. My advice is to find some farmers/acreage owners that offer that kind of service. My winter storage costs me $250 for the entire winter - $125 in, $125 out.

I don't know of anyone personally in Calgary that does it. Try posting an ad on Kijiji?
