hey, how's everyone?
I'm driving a 98 Civic Lx 4 door.
I've been having issues with my cars reception for a while now.
About a year ago I was driving and heard a deafening pop from the cars speakers. After that happened, my am reception is pretty much non-existent, and my fm is pretty bad.
My antenna is not powered at all.
I thought it might be the deck, so seeing that I wanted to replace my old deck anyways, I replaced the deck, and it hasn't made a difference at all.
The antenna in my car has a wire running from the aerial, to the deck. At the deck, it plugs into a wire in the back of the deck. As far as I can tell, that's the only wire running to/from my antenna.
I can't figure this out at all. Can anyone help me out?
