i was going up 17th ave sw the other night and noticed a girl driving what could have been a civic?, i just saw it for a sec. and i was not in the right frame of mind to be seeing straight, it was like a dark deep red maybe purple, it had decals like bubbles or something, the car looked pimp and very clean, props on a girl racer with a nice ride....

That is a pretty nice civic, if you are a chick...and the owner of the car is.. But ya I noticed the fitment with the front light and corner light, there is quite a gap there.

I gotta give props for that one. That's quite tastefully done (even though it's pink). Very nice and clean looking. Very professional. I've seen too much crap on the streets. But I'd probably pee myself if I saw this one drivin' beside me. Good attention to detail.

Maybe half right, ya never know. But I get tired of lookin' at the same black or silver flames on the sides of cars with the off-the-shelf red-n-black seats. This one had some good thought and time put into it

any ideas how much a paint job like that costs and where you could get one of that quality done?

shadowz

National Collision , Maranello can do it, its a Candy paint job, just the same as mine, very pricey

No actually the way it works is, some people may like it, some may not. I personally think hot pink does not belong on any car, but thats my opinion.

or maybe those who don't like it are better tuned to what is suitable on a car? you can't say ppl that don't like something are jealous because they disagree with you. sounds like its your car..what engine do you have?

But its all opinion...how can you say that some people are correct and "better tuned" when ones idea of what "better tuned" is would merely be an opinion in itself.

Its a show car, its not a track car for nurbergering or the initial d circut down the mountains. its ment to draw attention at shows and bring happiness to the owner. Its not ike the car is caked with decals raving all sorts of performance parts that are not present.

i know its all opinion, and my opinion is i prefer go before show :dunno:
still looks like a good paint job though. can she answer what engine is it?

well lets see, its a 92-95 civic with the original motor. do the math.

Hehe I think that was refering to me since I was the only one who showed negative comments. Bottomline is I appreciate all the work and money that went into it but don't ever accuse someone of being jealous of a civic:rofl: and understand that people have their own oppinion and that the fast and furious look does not work for alot of us

I was just giving the remote possibility of her spending her money on something worthwhile a chance. I guess thats not the case.

Well, you're not a girl (are you?), so of course you wouldn't want a pink interior

Yeah, I think I used to work with the girl who owns that one. She had some problem with the paint, but I think she sorted it out. When you see the car up close it is HYPE. But it is safe to say that the car and the girl match each other well. They will both turn your head. She's showcasing it at Urban Dream tonight.

seen the car in real life, and I can vouch for the amazing exterior paint. Most gorgeous color I've seen on a civic. The interior is definitely suited towards a female, but stands out really nicely. Very nice show car.

My pic of it from 2F2F opening night at Chinook.
