WTB: telus LG Chocolate or Nokia 6265i

i need a phone, telus is giving me the run-around with my contract not expiring for another 3 months, lets see what people have...

That's weird...my 3yr contract ends sometime around September I think, and about 2 weeks ago I got myself a new phone + renewed contract without any hassle.

they will go with a contract upgrade but refused to give me the prices that the advertise the phone at.

ie, the phone i want was advertised at $89 with a 2 year contract, but that was only for a new contract, not an upgrade/resign price, they wanted $150 even though i've been with them for 3 years. So until my contract expires and i sign a new one, they won't give a lower price. :nut:

i just figure i'll buy the phone outright through here and just go on a one year contract

Ohh okay..I was going to pick up an lg choc slider, and then I saw the lg choc flip and ended up getting that one. So far its a great phone and would recommend it.

i want to avoid flip phones, my last one slowly started breaking a couple months ago and now doesn't work at all, the wires seem to have snapped between the top and bottom part of the phone.

i wanted a slvr but telus doesn't carry them :thumbsdow
