Thanks Ben, but I want chassis codes, not engine codes. I'm looking for codes like EK or EG, but for sedan, coupes, etc.

Now why didn't I think of this!? Course, I could be wrong, but I thought chassis codes for the Hondas went first by generation year then by engine type? Not tryin' to step on your toes, Ferio, but I'm interested to know if I've been compeltely wrong in reffering to my car as an EK3 (2000, SOHC Non-VTec at stock)

NE way, best thing I could find so is a small list of the top model in each generation with codes, and some loose info over at Temple of VTEC.

Apparently, our civics were downgraded so much from the JDM spec that the american market had to start using up old chassis codes that were not used in previous years. So, the body type for the 99-00 civic is infact EK, but the low-end EK1 civics in the JDM still had better engines than we do, so we got the left-over EJ codes from the previous year. Stupid ... We don't get into JDM codes until you hit the Si and SiR's (that's USDM, not CDM). How lame is that?
