I have a 93 sunbird le and i need a tech and i don't know if i need anything beside the tech to install it in my car.i have a tach. it didn't come with one so i would like to have one if u can tell me how to i would be thankfull.

any electronic tach will hook up to your coil, and give you a signal.

i have the coil pack is that cool or do i need some thing to make it work? and do u know what wire i have to tap in to?

how many coils on the coil pack?

It's discussed in the wiring diagram of the tach if you purchase it, but usually it gets a signal from the ground on the coil, but I'm not sure if that's how a multi-coil system would work.
