Pretty sure carproofs are available as a "per car" purchase, not a time allowance like Carfax.

If you know anyone that works for a dealer, ask them to do it for you. I know T&T Honda does it on their vehicles. Definitely worth a shot.

vin search is like 10 bucks at registries. carfax is useless. carproof is somewhat pricy (40 bucks for the decent check (lien)) but WELLL WELLLLL WELLLLL worth it. if you cant afford a 40 check on a car, maybe you shouldnt be buying a car.....

anyway, carproof ftw. carfax = lame for cdn cars.

Well its actually 25 bucks but it only tells me if its got any leans. which wont help me much at all.

and for some reason the carproof page never loads for me. Damn this is tougher than i thought.

ya, the $40 one gives you basically alll the info you need. i just just just did one and it was valuable. highly recommended. i had no problem with their site on a mac. maybe try using firefox instead of ie?
