- NO the data (internet etc.) does not work. You will never find a unlocked Sidekick3/HipTop3 that is capable of data functions on any other carrier other then the original carrier. The OS is flashed to ONLY work on the orginal carrier and cannot be reprogrammed. It's a great phone for texting.
- It also comes with a OEM T-Mobile Sidekick3 leather case and a 512mb Mini SD....both which i purchased separately. You need the Mini SD to store MP3's and store mulitple Themes/Backgrounds.
- I purchased the phone from Suncom in North Carolina when i was on vacation there over a month ago. After some smooth talking to the customer service rep there I got them to unlock it for me.
