It reminds me of a Identified Flying Object (Blue easter egg)
while the interior is like a spaceship!

just like the RSX they have too but more amps in the back. the interior moves to close the driver when the door is closed.

I'm still trying to figure out where the interior and exterior lines are drawn..

Two guys from Apline built that to showcase the comapny's abilities. One of my Super Streets has a cover story on that car. Something like "the $250,000 Honda!"

Haha, that thing is nuts, just like the RSX that they made too.. Just made to demo alpines stuff for car shows, i think there is also a motorcycle. Whoever built those cars is really creative with fiberglass, and definately some awesome airbrushing too.

Yeah...This has been on alomst every magazine, and at every major US Show, was was the RSX Before it. I liked the RSX more...The Civic is jsut too much for me :(

of course you could but thats not the point, alpine is the owner of this car and they did it to simply promote their products and their install creativity.... its not like some ricer dropped a quarter mill into a civic..

yea its been converted to a middle seating position like the mclaren f1, same with their rsx

positioning the seat in the middle provides the best sound environment for the driver, that was alpine's reasoning for doing it in the super2nr article..

The interior look so trippy. Looks like one of those futuristic cars in movies.

Yes it is. But as stated, Alpine ONLY uses it for shows. It never gets driven, it's trailered everywhere.

That's just too amazing. A real work of art --- could have been out of Hollywood. The single, centred seat is sweet and those 'arm'-things that wrap around the drivers seat are coooool.

A few other things that they should have changed: the stock hand-brake handle and the stock turn signal stalk. Also, the shifter could have matched better as well.

If I owned that car, I could live with those "problems"

This monstrosity cost somone like 250k to build. personally, i rather spent that kina cash on a new Lambo, but some people have 2 much money and 2 little time and want to be 2 different, which is why nobody likes this car or it's creator. Killer soundsystem tho!
