5 series seats in an E30?

This may be a stupid question but I know nothing about BMWs. I have a friend with an E30 325i and was wondering if the E30 525 seats will bolt into place. Specifically the two front buckets. Thanks a bunch

Sorry. Like I said I know nothing about BMWs. He has an 86 325i 4 door. He is looking at seats from I believe an 89 525. Hope that helps explain a little bit.

Not precisely sure if they'll just bolt on, but you can make almost any seat fit into any car by simply making some rails or using the 325 rails on the 525 seats.

I kind of figured I could fab up some mounts. Just looking to see if anyone had tried it yet and if it could be as simple as just bolting them up. I guess we will try a test fit first see whats involved then. Thanks
