What do we do when handed a vehicle that is decisively faster, more stable, and more purely satisfying to drive in a test designed to evaluate sports sedans? Not only did the 540i wax the competition at the drag strip, but the visceral offerings from its DOHC 32-valve V-8 were positively spellbinding, especially in concert with a chassis structure and suspension that all agreed was the most rigid and best-handling of the bunch. Praise was effusive for the 540i after a series of passes through a long stretch of undulating curves with rough surfaces. With the traction control turned on or off, the Bimmer negotiated the nasty bits with amazing aplomb at speeds as quick as or quicker than any of the competition.
It also goes without saying that this car is classy and has all the features one would expect from a BMW, such as:

Burl walnut trim
Xenon HID headlights with dual Hella CELIS halos.
8 way power seats with memory, they are heated as well
Power adjustable steering wheel (telescopic) with memory

I've taken this care of this car to the best of my ability. It has been dealer serviced all its life. I've put on new tires and had an inspection done recently - the car passed with flying colours. I've spent over $29000 on this car, the going market price on these is about $28000, and right now I am selling for a much reduced $23,950 because I would like this car to move quickly.
